                            "The Allegory of the Cave"

"The Allegory on the Cave" from the book VII of The Republic by Plato, the author describe that Socrates explain to Glaucon how the humans act when they are living underground in the caves as a prisoner of they on believes only with the shadows of the images or projection's from the fire, away from the reality around their own shadows as a marionettes and illusions.

When one of the prisoner is move away from these caves and see the light of the sun, he saw that there is a different world outside of the caves, he face up the error from where they are living on the darkness of the shadows and he feel confused. But returning to the caves the rest of the people try to persuade him that what he saw is only an illusion, because from them this person lost part of the abilities to identified the images that were projected from the fire, the only world that they know.

When people from the caves accept with responsibility the reality of the life on the new world they will be wisdom of the decision, and will get better life outside of the caves with out chains and shadows of the darkness.

I Know the True, so Don't Bother Me With Facts

According to the article "Ï Know the True, so Don't Bother Me with Facts", the author Jeffrey Kluger state how people is been manipulate and trick with some kind of  information, special when these information is only rumors or false beliefs. People with strong thoughts would change the position regardless the evidence they will present base on wrong facts or rumors, like in  this case the proposed Islamic cultural center that will be at Ground Zero in downtown Manhattan.

“I know the Truth, so Don’t Bother Me with Facts''

Significant Idea.
“While Garret and Nisbet were disturbed by how easy is to manipulate people’s belief systems with insinuating pictures or inflammatory quotes about the proposed Islamic Cultural Center.

Claim. That statement is not true.

Reason.
- Every person has a different personality and own ideas.
- We are not easy to be manipulate from others only from rumors.
- Everyone deserve be tread as an adult.

Thesis.
I disagree because every person has the own thoughts and opinions, different personality and believes and is not easy to changed or reverse our  position only because someone has a different opinion base on simple facts or rumors and try to convince that what they said is the truth. We are not easy to be manipulate, we deserve to be tread as an adult with our own ideas, regardless of the contradictory evidence.
